The CAP has a
proud tradition of humanitarian and educational service to all who
want to learn about aerospace. Continues
Emergency Services - Civil Air Patrol is arguably best known for its
Search and Rescue (SAR) activities. CAP now flies about 95 percent
of inland SAR missions directed by the Air Force Rescue Coordination
Center (AFRCC) at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia.
Continues Cadet Programs -
The Cadet Program
mission of Civil Air Patrol is the future of the organization. More
importantly, the real purpose of the Cadet Program is to inspire our
youth to become leaders in their communities.
